Our 300A stainless steel high-pressure misting kit includes the model 300A pump along with all the necessary piping, nozzles, fittings, and accessories to install your chosen misting line length in “I”, “L”, or “U” configuration. Please check the “In The Box” section to verify you have the necessary fittings for your installation. You can choose stainless steel piping or plastic piping.

The 300A pump’s ceramic-coated stainless steel pistons and aircraft anodized aluminum body make it the most long-lasting misting machine on the market with minimal maintenance requirements.

Available with both ceramic and stainless steel nozzle orifice types. A stainless steel orifice is more resistant to mild freezing temperatures but has a somewhat shorter life.
A ceramic orifice has a longer life but will crack when exposed to temperatures below freezing point if there is any water left in it.

Draining water from misting lines will not remove water from the nozzle, so if you live in areas where temperatures drop below freezing even for short periods, use stainless steel orifice nozzles. If your water has scale-causing minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and iron (defined as “hard water”), or fine sediment, consider upgrading to a water filter + scale inhibitor to prevent premature pump failure, and clogged and dripping nozzles caused by scale buildup. Damage from scale and fine sediment is not covered under the warranty.

Installation requirements

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of your misting kit. Please follow these key guidelines to ensure safe and efficient operation:

Misting pump must be installed at or above grade level, and away from direct sunlight and rain exposure. It must not be submerged in water for any period of time.
Water inlet can be fed with water from the city water line (requires 3/4 garden hose male connection) or gravity fed with water from a bucket. Potable water only. Included polyether tubing should be used to connect the pump to the faucet directly as garden hoses often react with chlorine in water and cause a chlorine smell in misted air. The integrated water switch will shut off the pump when there is no water present.
Power: Outdoor rated 120V NEMA 5-15R GFCI power outlet is required.
Pump oil must be added before powering ON for the first time.
High pressure supply line: 15ft of 1/4 inch plastic tubing comes with each kit to be used as high pressure supply line. Up to 15ft of plastic 1/4 inch tubing plus up to an additional 15ft of stainless steel tubing can be used to bring high pressure water from the pump to the misting line. For lengths that exceed these limits, 3/8 inch plastic tubing must be used instead of 1/4 inch plastic tubing for high pressure supply line. You will need a 3/8 to 1/4 inch reducer and a 3/8 high pressure quick connect slip lock adapter to connect 3/8 tubing to the pump and misting line. High pressure supply line must be connected at the half point in the misting line using the included T fitting to avoid large pressure drop at end nozzles.

Regular maintenance is essential to ensure reliable operation and extend the lifespan of your misting kit. Follow these maintenance guidelines to keep the system in optimal condition:

Requires simple oil change every 300-500 hours, or once a year.
Requires winterization for areas where temperatures drop below freezing. Water must be drained from all tubing and filters, pump and ceramic nozzles removed and stored at above freezing temperatures.
May require water, o-ring, and oil seal change after 1500-2000hrs (2000hrs translates to 7 years of moderate use or 3 years of very heavy use)
Filter change (if optional 0.5 micron filter is used) based on filter specifications. Filter cleaning if standard (included) filter is used is recommended at least once a season.
